Meet Gergana Emanuilova
Founder/Director - Child Development Supervisor ( level 3)
At the heart of Casa Mia Montessori is owner, Gergana. With over 15 years dedicated to early childhood education, Gergana's journey is deeply rooted in the Montessori method. She holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Montessori Education from the Montessori Teachers College in Toronto, an Early Learning & Childcare Diploma from Portage College in Alberta, and a Level 3 Early Childcare Educator Certification in Calgary. Her academic foundation also includes a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Economics from the University of Forestry in Sofia, Bulgaria, as well as studies in Business and Entrepreneurship at SAIT in Calgary. Most recently, she completed Harvard University’s Introduction to Family Engagement in Education, further strengthening her commitment to inclusive, family-focused learning.

As a mother of three children (and a cocker spaniel named Rio), Gergana embodies the nurturing spirit of Casa Mia. Her personal experience as both a parent and an educator in her own Montessori day home has given her profound insights into the pivotal role of early childhood education for lifelong success.

Her commitment to engaging with children, families, and educators ensures a responsive and inclusive atmosphere at Casa Mia. Always eager to learn and innovate, Gergana brings fresh ideas and a deep passion for early childhood education to the community.
