Meet Gergana Radulova
Founder/Director - Child Development Supervisor ( level 3)
At the heart of Casa Mia Montessori is owner, Gergana. With over 15 years dedicated to early childhood education, Gergana's journey is deeply rooted in the Montessori method. She holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Montessori Education from the Montessori Teachers College in Toronto, an Early Learning & Childcare Diploma from Portage College in Alberta, and a Level 3 Early Childcare Educator Certification in Calgary. Her academic foundation also includes a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Economics from the University of Forestry in Sofia, Bulgaria, as well as studies in Business and Entrepreneurship at SAIT in Calgary. Most recently, she completed Harvard University’s Introduction to Family Engagement in Education, further strengthening her commitment to inclusive, family-focused learning.

As a mother of three children (and a cocker spaniel named Rio), Gergana embodies the nurturing spirit of Casa Mia. Her personal experience as both a parent and an educator in her own Montessori day home has given her profound insights into the pivotal role of early childhood education for lifelong success.

Gergana is passionate about creating a welcoming, healthy, and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and inspired. Her commitment to engaging with children, families, and educators ensures a responsive and inclusive atmosphere at Casa Mia. Always eager to learn and innovate, Gergana brings fresh ideas and a deep passion for early childhood education to the community.

Mrs. Mansii

Mrs. Mansii is a passionate Montessori educator with over eight years of experience in Casa classrooms across Asia and North America. She creates nurturing, engaging environments where children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Skilled in classroom management, individualized learning, and hands-on Montessori materials, she partners closely with families to support each child’s unique journey.
In her “me” time, Mrs. Mansii enjoys reading Montessori, philosophical, and self-development books, exploring cultural cuisines, and dreams of discovering the mountains and seas of the world.

Mrs. Olu
Montessori Directress

Mrs. Olu is an experienced Montessori educator dedicated to nurturing the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally—through intentional, child-centered learning. With over five years of experience in both Montessori and play-based settings, she creates supportive environments where children feel safe, respected, and encouraged to explore at their own pace. Originally from Nigeria, Mrs. Olu brings a valuable cultural perspective to her teaching. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, a Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Development from Bow Valley College, and a Level 2 certification. Outside the classroom, she enjoys cooking and spending quality time with her family.

Ms. Dennis

Dennis Chavez de Luna holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from Mexico and has worked with children since 2012, supporting both school-aged learners and families through transition and adoption processes. With over 12 years of experience, she brings a child-centered, nature-inspired approach, encouraging outdoor exploration, curiosity, and independence. Dennis creates a warm, engaging environment where children feel supported, inspired, and able to thrive.

Mrs. Belen
Montessori Directress
Junior Casa Montessori Classroom (19 months to 3 years old)
ECE Level 1 Certification
Belen Galeano is an Early Childhood Educator with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Uruguay and experience across multiple age groups. She brings a creative, nurturing approach to the classroom, supporting children through hands-on learning, artistic expression, and meaningful connection. Belen is passionate about creating a warm, inclusive environment where every child feels safe, confident, and valued, and enjoys working with children from diverse backgrounds. Fluent in Spanish and English, she also loves storytelling, creative projects, and spending time in nature.

Ms. Kim
Lead Chef and Centre Support

Mrs. Kim, originally from England, holds a Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and has many years of experience in childcare. Her passion for working with children began at age thirteen through a summer care program. After moving to Calgary in 2007, she studied Montessori Theory to strengthen her child-centered approach. Her love for cooking and preparing healthy meals has become an integral part of her professional journey, as she serves as the chef cook, ensuring nutritious food supports children’s growth. She also provides lead support to help maintain a safe, nurturing, and well-organized environment. Outside of work, she enjoys board games, cooking, movies, dancing, and camping with her family.

Music Teacher
Little Voices Music Academy
Dana Cherii is the Owner and Founder of Dana Cherii Music Studio and Little Voices Academy, as well as a professionally trained pianist, vocalist, and masterclass educator. She combines her passion for music and mindfulness with her expertise as a coach and mentor, empowering musicians and educators to grow both artistically and professionally.

Mrs. Karyn
Dietician, Chef, and President
For the LOVE of FOOD
Karyn Sunohara, Registered Dietitian and Professionally trained Chef. Karyn has over 16 years culinary experience and over 10 years of dietetic experience. Karyn loves to to share my love for food, nutrition and cultures in a hands-on and interactive way. Karyn strives to find fun, practical approaches to nutrition with my clients.

Miss Yuly López is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Languages, a postgraduate specialization in Teaching Spanish through Content, and diplomas in Teacher Aide and Childcare Management, and is currently completing Level 2 in ELCC.
With over 10 years of experience teaching Spanish and more than a decade in early childhood education, she creates safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments. Guided by respect, empathy, and inclusion, she is committed to fostering each child’s confidence and love of learning. In her free time, she enjoys family time, reading, and playing volleyball.
